28 MAY - A New Chapter: Piltover
General Summary
What Happened?
The Souper Troopers wrapped up their final bits of business in Bilgewater before heading off to join Jeaks at the Field Office. A small change of command with a couple members of the Fearsome Five getting "promoted" to managing the Bilgewater Office, followed by a farewell to Pickle as they headed off to Ionia, and then the crew joining Jeaks in the teleport circle to the Explorers' Guild Headquarters in Piltover for the next chapter in their lives. The Souper Troopers were greeted in Piltover, City of Progress by a scribe (who Jeaks immediately dumped you guys upon) who gave you all a tour of the Guild House. They then spent about a day and a half exploring a bit of the town before receiving their first mission: a trip into the sewers! The sewers are a typical location where beginners are sent to get some experience as it is a spawning ground for oozes, giant rats, and other typically low-threat creatures. Recently, there have been several sanitary workers and beginner adventurers that have gone missing and they wanted to send a more experienced group to investigate. ---fast forward through Marcel not properly preparing a maze--- the party is getting swarmed by a large group of ratmen.
