Out of The Glitterhame, Into The What?
Current Date: Midday of 8 Heptatyr, 994 AN (New Moon)
The last session of 2022. We picked up after the fight with the Kobold tribe's Giant Subterranean Lizard. After some debate on whether to press forward with exploring or calling things quit and escaping, the party decided that they still had it in them to take on some more challenges. Within the Glitterhame Caverns, they found a door that they were having trouble getting through, but noticed that there was a key hole. With that knowledge, they set off to explore the surrounding area to see if they could find something to unlock the door. Along the way, they encountered little resistance as they found another Kobold Pet (a Brown Bear), looted some Ancient Shuriman sepulchers (apparently tomb works), were attacked by some wormlike monstrosities (Grick) and found one more weapon bearing the mark of Durgeddin (a +1 to-hit Pike). Travelling down a stairwell, in the southeastern portion of the Glitterhame, the party found an old dilapidated storage area. While most of the area was ruined by time and moisture, they did eventually find a key that would open the door to the next area. No spiders were encountered near it. After a small struggle, the Souper Troopers returned to the locked door and managed to get it open and followed a stairway leading upward - leading to an octagonal chamber with three large statues and two more locked doors and a faint ringing sound of metal.
