October 30 - Forge of Fury, Act I
General Summary
Through the Front Door
Current Date: Midday of 4 Heptatyr, 994 AN (New Moon)
A whole lot of combat. Can probably be broken down into three phases. 1. Mountain Door.
The Orcs were taking pot shots from their arrow slits looking down on the Souper Troopers. Most of the party charged through the mess to reach the carved double doors. Meanwhile, Turt blinked into the up to the area where the Orcs were taking cover to flank the enemy. All in all, the party easily pushed forward with Pickle busting down the barred doors. 2. Bridged Crevasse
Swinging open the double doors revealed a large hallway that was divided by a large crevasse. A single rickety rope bridge spanned the gap. More Orcs on either side of the gap attempted to fend off the Souper Troopers' advances, but they were unable to destroy the rope bridge in time. (Almost managed to break it with Pickle and Laccaria crossing.) 3. Orc Ambush
Fucking massacre in the hallway. First swung in Super Troopers' favor with a really nice AoE hit by Agon on the first round of Orcs, but the second wave managed to nearly ground Pickle (kept in the game by a nice heal from Laccaria). Laccaria managed to slow down the escape of the leader, but was knocked unconcious in the process (brought back by Sprout). Also, the DM forgot to mention the two prisoners watching the ambush at the end. And Rumpadump quietly followed in the background, as well.

LIFE. And a couple gold pieces. We'll see if they find anything else nearby.
