Scepter of the Void

This scepter is a tapered golden rod that is adorned with a small purple cystalline gem at the tip that glimmers as though it carries a mote of the Void itself. Looking closely at it, you can make out what looks to be a dark purplish eye staring back.

Eye of the Void

As an action, you can channel the the mote of the void in the scepter's gem to summon a Void Herald, shattering the gem in the process, for up to 1 hour.
You may either concentrate on this connection letting you issue commands to the creature or allow it to operate freely. You can discern four command words, though you are not entirely sure what they do: Gather, Spread, Create, Destroy.
Attempting to dismiss or release the creature before it reaches its full duration sets the creature to act independently for 1d8 turns before being banished to the Void.
