Facial characteristics

Ulkins have different features depending on their place of origin. Ulkins from Ulveizh have mostly dark grey or brownish gray hair and yellow eyes. They look the most like Grey Wolves (Canis lupus). In Valisiya, on the far northern coast, Ulkins have orange hair, pointier snouts and yellow eyes with vertical pupils. The short fur on their hands and forearms is black. They resemble Red Foxes (Vulpes vulpes). In the mountainous regions of Lurh and Austermarhk east of Valisya, Ulkins take on a more bear-like appearance having coarse brown hair, short heavyset jaws and overall more hairy bodies. They have brown eyes and their ears a slightly more rounded than other Ulkins. They resemble Finally in the Senaqstan region of north-eastern Jannharb live the Senaq Golden Jackal (Canis aureus)

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Taste Ulkins are able to taste sour, bitter, savoury and sweet but not salty. They are however able to taste differences in water more clearly than other species.
