A True Story

The tradition of storytelling permeates every culture of Ruslavia. While most stories begin "Once upon a time", they end with the pronouncement that the story was true, because the events were told to the current storyteller by someone who witnessed them first-hand. The exact phrasing is never used when someone is actually telling a true story.

This is a true story, for one was there who told me of it.
