Ballerinas are generally female dancers who perform Ballets for the courts and educated classes of Ruslavia. All ballerinas were trained up by the Bolshiv Ballet School to be dancers and assassins, and most still work for the Bolshiv Ballet Company, either as touring members, or as freelance performers.

Ballerinas fill a neat role of being well-respected enough to seamlessly move among the upper echelons of society while still being looked down on enough maintain a level of anonymity. This is one of the reasons that the Bolshiv Ballet Company uses ballerinas as assassins.
