Izba
Izbas are the main type of house in Ruslavia. They normally consist of only one or two rooms, because any more rooms would be harder to heat.
Sensory & Appearance
A sweet aroma of moss and pine-needles fills the izba due to the floor being coated in forest moss and pine boughs to keep in the warmth. Large shelves line the walls, for storage and insulation, and the air is thick with smoke from the large stove that heats the room.
Architecture
These wooden huts are raised on four pillars, and always built a significant distance apart to prevent the spread of Fire.
