Kolodet

Kolodet

Kolodet is the Samovila who resides in the Well in Ketterpesh.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Kolodet met Vasilly, Baboushka and Bogdan when they were escorting the Mishkinaries to the village of Ketterpesh. She threatened Vasilly that, if he didn't get the Mishkinaries (and Kuklo, who was spreading Chernabog propaganda in the form of puppet show) to leave, she would flood them out, to protect her village. Later, after the trio have convinced all of the Orthobog preachers to leave, Vasilly drops fifteen gold pieces and his Mishkinary contract into the well.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Kolodet has come to care very deeply for the citizens of Ketterpesh ever since they built their town around her well.

Likes & Dislikes

Likes

The Ketterpesh Villagers: Kolodet favours anyone who stands up for and protects the villagers of Ketterpesh, even sometimes going so far as to grant wishes to particularly heroic protectors, or villagers that she thinks are cute.

Dislikes

Intruders: Anyone who Kolodet pecieves as a threat to her bond with the villagers of Ketterpesh best beware, or face the wrath of the well spirit.

Social

Religious Views

Kolodet hates the Orthobog religion, more than many of the other spirits. She has listened in anger as missionaries from the churches of Belabog and Chernabog have come to tempt her village away from her.

Spell-like Abilities:

Flash Flood

2/day; DC14. 60ft cone-shaped burst
A fast-moving wave batters all creatures in its path, leaving the target area flooded. Each creature in the area must succeed at a Reflex save or take 1d6 points of bludgeoning damage.
In addition, the affected area becomes shallow bog terrain (costing 2 squares of movement to move 1 square, and raising Acrobatics and Stealth DC by 2) that affects everyone except the Samovilla. If a square is affected by a second wave, it becomes deep bog terrain (costing Medium or Large creatures 4 squares of movement to move 1 square (Small or smaller creatures must swim), and raising Acrobatics and Stealth DC by 2).
Note: The water in a deep bog provides cover for Medium or larger creatures. Smaller creatures gain improved cover (+8 bonus to AC, +4 bonus on Reflex saves). Medium or larger creatures can crouch as a move action to gain this improved cover. Creatures with this improved cover take a –10 penalty on attacks against creatures that aren’t underwater.
