Sh’Sl’Kar
Or in the common tongue, The God Wars.
As the story goes Hextor unleashed The Destroyer's Flood after losing a game of Gambit of Old with his brother Erythnul. Hextor sought out and killed Erythnul. He then hunted down any known allies and killed them as well. The world was covered in water sending many of the gods into hiding in The Great Arboretum. Those that didn’t hide or bow to Hextor died in the slaughtering known as the God Wars or Sh’Sl’Kar. With most of the gods in hiding, Hextor appointed himself conquerer and god of gods. Once they were all eliminated or had disappeared into the far reaches of the world their were no other gods strong enough on their own to oppose hextor. He ruled over the remaining gods with an iron fist and any talk of rebellion was met with the punishment of death. This time period is known as the Dominance of Hextor, a time period running from 45,000 PS to 15,000 PS.
The Conflict
Prelude
one day Hextor, decided he wanted to be the sole god of war and not share that title with his brother, Erythnul. So he proposed a game of ”Gambit of Ord” to decide who would be the god of war once and for all. Erythnul, enjoying competition, accepted the bet, against the objections of his siblings, and so the game was on and the dice came out. Hextor lost but was convinced that he had been cheated by Erythnul. In order to get even with Erythnul, Hextor unleashed The Destroyer's Flood.

Outcome
Many of the gods died a the hands of Hextor. The few who survived fled and hide in the furthest reaches of The Great Arboretum. Three of the remaining gods hatched a secret plan to take back the power from Hextor. They formed the The Triquetra.
Aftermath
The gods created the seeds that would birth life. The magical seeds were infused with the gods own powers of creation. They established the prime material plane at the center of the planar universe and began to plant the seeds. Hextor discovered the plan and came to put an end to it just like he had all other rebellions. However the Triquetra was far more formidable a foe. Obad-Hai - Neutral was able to distract Hextor while the two other members of the Triquetra planted their seeds beginning the creation of Rüt. Then the remaining two battled with Hextor. As a final attempt to put an end to his reign Pelor - Lawful and Ehlonna - Good sacrificed themselves creating the suns and bringing light to the darkness of Hextor. This sunlight was too much for Hextor and his darkness and he was destroyed.
The gods and Rüt would survive to see another day...

The gods were a fun loving bunch of magical beings, all powerful and each with their own ability to create within their domain as they saw fit. However one day Hextor, decided he wanted to be the sole god of war and not share that title with his brother, Erythnul. So he asked Erythnul to bet it on a game of Gambit of Ord.Legacy
