The Barrens of Doom & Despair

Also known as Banehold is a sinister plane of existence. an inhospitable locale, filled with vast deserts of black sand and huge plains of dark granite. There is no water to be found anywhere on the plane (except for the River of Blood), and no sunlight filled the blood-red sky. The Barrens of Doom and Despair consisted of a single infinite plane. This plane represent the Neutral Evil Alignment. It was where one of the events of the Great Calamity, a collection of world ending events that all took place inexplicably at the same time, throughout different times and planes. The Solar Tempani commandeered a forward operating temple of the Celestial army. She then trapped an elder being from the Far Realm and attempted to merge with it to bring an end to all of time in the known planes of existence. Her efforts were foiled by a small group of mortal heroes summoned by the Planetar Ahmzael. The Barrens fo Doom and Despair are not home to any particular types of creatures however many outcast gods will find a home here in Banehold.
