The Great Calamity

Great Calamity = multiple world ending events happening all at the same time over all of the continents and planes of existence all at once and at different times among different timelines. No one know what caused all these events to happen at the same time, not the angels nor the gods.  But some suspect hextors darkness of being at fault.   During the Great Calamity the Solar Ahmzael brought different sets of adventurers and heroes from across the continents of Rüt and others from different planes to the Temple of Time to each help protect the world from several different avenues of attack that inexplicably all happened at the same time across multiple planes and timelines.

Summary

Is a cataclysmic event that effects the whole of Rüt. During the Great Calamity multiple world ending events happen all at the same time spanning across each of the continents of Rüt. No one knows what causes all these events to happen at the same time, not the angels nor the gods; not the devils, nor the demons. Some suspect Hextors lost darkness of being the underlying cause.

The Great Calamity is historically rooted in the many events that happened to occur from -1000 AS to 0 AC.
