Godcoin

Godcoins are a mythological currency designed, crafted and used solely by the gods. They were designed as a way for gods to trade among each other, since regular currency was simple enough for even demigods to create. The creation and trading of Godcoins is heavily regulated by almost all of the gods, and disobeying these regulations can result in a god or goddess being removed from their pantheon, godhood itself, and even in some cases killed.   Due to the gods themselves designing godcoins to be like this, they do not have a permanent, solid value. Instead, the value of a godcoin is always worth exactly one more Copper Coin than the sum of the richest mortal's assets on any of the planes, excluding any godcoins that mortal may have themselves. This gives godcoins the unique property of always being the single most valuable object on any of the planes.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Godcoins work off of the direct magic and divine abilities of the gods, allowing them to be completely indestructible, impossible to lose or steal, and uncounterfeitable.
