The Gray Cloaks

Beware those cloacked in gray!

Thats what all the wanted poosters and signs say, warning every-day folk about The Gray Cloaks. "If you see a Gray Cloak, report it to the nearest guardsmen!" it says.  "Rewards will be give to those who report or turn in legitimate Gray Cloaks" it says.  Eventually, the everyday passer-by grows desensitized to it. They live normal lives, day in and day out. "There is no reason to be on the lookout for one of these people that supposedly adds to the ammount of things that go bump in the night. The chances of ever coming across a Gray Cloak are slim, at best."
Gray Cloak is the slang term for Necromancer, so named because necromancy leaves everything it touches devoid of color, and that often means that it will drain all pigment and color from the persons skin and clothing, leaving nothing but different tones of gray. Given this fact and how necromancy is illegal in Ruune, your chances of actually seeing a Gray Cloak are slim to none- however on the off chance that you should see one, and it is a legitimate necromancer, the alarm is to be raised and the guards notified.
No one knows what any one of these individual is after or what their purposes are. There are suspicions of a unified cause, but noting more than speculations exist presently. All that is known is that they can be extremely destructive, dangerous, and terrifying if provoked.
