Description
There are few orginizations and individuals operating above the law who carry authority from country to country; the Road Wardens are one such organization. Operating as a peacekeeping network, the roadwardens roam the countryside, cities, and towns of Ruune, hunting that which they have vowed to destroy: Greycloaks. They carry the same level authority as local law enforcement, which may or may not cause the occasional upset, as toes tend to get stepped on in the persuit of justice against those who would perversely use magic. They are not typically equipped to handle monsters beyond the standard zombie or skeleton, however the Road Wardens have been trained in the arts of survival, stealth, and evasion.
The Road Wardens have a fairly simple heirarchy: those in training are known as
Cadets, whilst full-fledged members of the order are known as Wardens. Beyond the rank of Warden, there are Senior Wardens, Master Wardens, and then the leader of the order: Grand Wardens. The Grand Wardens are typically relegated to Road's Hearth, where they stay and watch over the Academy, teaching the next generations of Wardens.

Purpose:
To hunt down and bring in Greycloacks/necromancers: dead or alive.
Main Base of Operations:
Road Warden bases of operation can be found all over Ruune, but the "go to place" is city of
Road's Hearth. where the Road Warden Academy is located.

Some were not content to lay down arms agains the darkness that had been banished in the great war. They knew that chaos had entered the world and that there would need to be people who kept the chaos in check. The first Road Wardens were gathered, then dispersed to the winds of the world, to go out and find evil in whatever dark corner it was hiding and drag it out into the light.
