Faerous

A fiery desert spanning much of the southernmost continent of Rylqyn. It hosts ancient temples dedicated to Zol, spanning sand wastes and great quarries staffed by skeleton armies eternally digging for some mysterious resource.

Story appearances
Faerous had appeared heavily when Finn Ironstone was imprisoned in The Sand Mines Prison. Other than that, it appeared in a one-shot revealing Drakon Tor’s mother received a blessing from Zol by clearing out one of her temples from undead suitors.

The genasi
It’s assumed that most genasi originate from Faerous, with the Fire Genasi staying, The Air Genasi migrating to Qitun, The Water Genasi traveling north to Elspeth and finally the Earth genasi traveling east to Tuaris.

Faerous governments
In the deserts of Faerous are two nations, with an additional nation on an island to the south. The Noocracy of Sahdyr is a smaller nation to the north led by a line of sultans, the successor chosen by the wisest blood relative to the previous sultan. The kingdom of Tsu makes up most of the area, and is led by Queen Relin Phas. The island to the south is known as The Banana Republic of Restov, a tropical republic nation whose name comes from the fruit found within.

The Oasis
In the desert of Faerous lies a mysterious casino town staffed by half-sirens and owned by Rybern Haus. While many riches await those who travel, it’s rumored that dark secrets lay beneath. Additionally rumored, a vault supposedly exists beneath the biggest building, The Crimson Weasel
