Born to a line of sailors, a young Javee Dohnes became obsessed with dicovering the reason behind Eldham's downfall. In his search, he found forbidden knowledge, and a curse was set upon him. His crew mutinized him, and accepting his fate, leaving behind his wife and child, he cast himself to the beasts of the waters, a suicide he deemed fitting. But the curse would not allow him to die. He saw his vigorous self transform into a wilting squid-like abomanation, and a darkness overwhelmed him. At first he only used his abilities to enact his revenge upon his former crew, but it soon descended into mindless sacking of any ships that crossed his waters. After his own son set out to heal his curse, Javee accidentilly killed him via kraken attack. The final heartbreak, Javee hid in his lair for the next hundreds of years, letting his krakens reign free while he sat in exile. This was until he was approached by Wyvl Victorrici, who gave him an offer he could not refuse: Freeing Javee of his curse. The oceanlord signed Wyvl's contract, without realizeing it to be a trap. Wyvl now siphons Javee's powers from him, and still unable to die, Javee has become a punching bag of sorts for the party.
