Aeranas

There isn't much known about the Aeranas. Records that were kept that mentioned them have been either lost or destroyed. There are a few small settlements in the north that still tell stories of magnificent shining winged warriors that fought along-side the armies of Rysidor on its darkest day. Some speculate that they are a cousin race to the Fye, Tsuna and Oria, with the power over air. These were the first defenders of Rysidor when the corrupted crossed over from the Void. As corruption spread they were the few that still worshipped the Author. Rewarded for their faith the Author gifted them wings, long life, and pure gosamyr. They used their abilities for both healing and protecting. Their mission was to reach others and bring them back to the Author but their numbers were limited and they were almost completely wiped out when the War of the Dragon began. They defeated the dragon known as Da'gu though it was at a cost.
