They primarily prey on Sea'nonka and are often hunted by 'Nonka Hounds are they are seen as a threat to their food source and the Oria people train their hounds to hunt and defend the mating grounds of the Sea'nonka's as the Sea'Nonka's are the primary food and trade source of the northern people.

Social

Aquatic Foxes are solitary creatures typically and are only seen in pairs during mating season or when the females have one or two pups with them. They typically sleep among the seagrass during the day and hunt in the early or late hours of the days. At night is when they most often go on land. Females typically give birth to their pups in tidepools or in the estuary during low tide. By the time high tide comes the pups are born and strong enough to follow their mother back into the ocean. If the pup is to weak, it either is picked off by land scavengers or is left behind to be someone else's meal.   Both males and females are highly territorial of its nesting ground and hunting ground. Aquatc Foxes known to chase off Water Cats. In scarcer food months, it is common that a few will band together to bring down larger prey and share the meal in most cases. If the aquatic fox feels like it is strong enough or has more mouths to feed, it will chase off the others that they hunted with. They will usually drag their kill up on the rocks above the water to keep their food in one place and limit the risk of losing their kill to another larger predator.
