Twidlark
Appearance
A twidlark is a small compacted, muscular four - legged creature that is often used as a pack/cart animal. They are about the size of a large goat and have small, floppy ears. Their hindlegs are longer than their front and they have relatively short tails but depending on the work they do it is a common practice for the tail and horns to be docked and their tusks are filed down. They have thick skin that protects them from most elements, however they are hairless, so they are not commonly found in colder climates or places that experience harsh winters. There is a variant breed of twidlark that were bred for colder climates that have short but very dense fur and a thick layer of fat. While it is misleading, twidlarks have small tusks that look like small fangs as their canines grow longer. This occurs more in the males than females and are used for defensive and mating purposes.
Colors
Their skin is usually brown, tan, grey, white, black, or sometimes can have subtle green tons to the mix. their underside is often a more lighter color.Social
Twidlarks live in small herds and females usually have 1 to 3 kids. They communicate with various grunts, snorts, squeaks, and whistles.
