Ha-Ti-Ti
There are many tales across Atal'Gazor which strike fear into the hearts of those who blow out the candle before sleep, who walk the jungle after the sun sets or who find themselves in caves where the light fears to fill. In the dark, Ha-Ti-Ti waits, it hunts.
Historical Basis
Atal'Gazor is a continent sized island rife with magical flux and influence, as such, high levels of cultural belief cause beings to come into existence. Ha-Ti-Ti, along with Echo Spirits are the result of raw magic formed into beings of considerable power and influence, often governing over things like luck, rain, and the predators.
Ha-Ti-Ti is the combined belief in things that go bump in the night, the shadow which stalks from a cupboard or under your bed. He is the black clawed shape rising on a lamp-lit wall, the silhouette on the foggy horizon. Due to the vast number of influences, Ha-Ti-Ti has 4 distinct personalities and forms, though each are Ha-Ti-Ti, they are also individual.
