Cogas
When Myrtha signed her pact with Eleonora, not all Janas were happy to oblige.
Some of them rebelled to the Mere'Janas decision and moved to live in natural caverns along the coast and in the depth of the mountains. They started venerating the most obscure part of the Mother, the destructive power of the elements and the stormy seas, celebrating during the dark moonless nights and gathering their magical essence during tunderstorms and tempests.
They share the same aspect of the Janas, but due to their wilder nature, they are less adept in the patient crafts that are typical of their more gentle peers. They rarely let themselves to be seen by humans, and they take the shape of animals more often than that of women. They also use a larger variety of animal shapes, compared to their sisters, usually that of the animals common in the environment they choose: fish, marine mammals and sea birds when they live close to the coast, foxes, wild cats and birds of prey when they live in the mountains.
They nurture an ill disguised hatred towards humans that they consider a parasite of the Mother that needs to be purged from Her body. Their modus operandi is, though, very subtle and they favor a stillicide tactic, often revelling in seeding hate between humans and Janas and let the humans' natural diffidence against the others do their dirty job.
