Celestial Magic

The magic accessible by divine will, bestowed upon the priests and paladins of Sacros. Heillige are gifted with the use of an advanced, unlearnable form of celestial magic.

Utility

Celestial magic is most commonly used for healing. Many gods offer access to elemental spells, magic that affects a target's mental capacities, or protective wards for individuals or locations.

Access & Availability

Only members of the Virtuous clergy and heillige can access celestial magic. The power itself is a divine gift, and the methods they use are confidential.
Both as an aid and reward, the gods bestow powers upon all those they deem worthy; if they prove themselves even further, they could continue to rise in the approval of individual gods. Each god has certain skillsets and powers they may provide to their clergy, making affiliation easy to identify on the battlefield.

Complexity

Most celestial magic comes from faith and willpower, and not components. Stronger spells, more intricate rituals, or god-specific magics may require components, offerings, or even sacrifice.
