Wizardry

Wizardry is the broad Sacrosian term for any teachable magical art. In contrast to the gifts of celestial magic or a deal with the demigods, wizardry requires nothing but the determination of its user to begin.

Utility

Wizardry is channeled through many paths. Magic can be offensive, utilitarian, persuasive, and more, but no wizardry can heal. Any technology can be misused, but as a science, wizardry has no natural addictive qualities, and anyone misusing it likely already has the predisposition for such things.
Access & Availability
Common use, even children are able to be taught small wizardry tricks.   Wizardry comes from the force of life, an energy imbued within every part of Sacros. Magic is a part of everyone and everything, but this doesn't mean all people are able to utilize these magical energies. Schools and training facilities across the land offer guidance in channeling magic to best suit an individual's skillset and needs. Those with elven or orcish blood seem to have a stronger innate sense for it than full humans.
Complexity
Depends on the type of spell. Simple things; such as lighting lamps, sending long distance messages, beginner's offensive magic, or gentle persuasive spells, may only require the knowledge and a somatic gesture or single component; while more intricate efforts are more specialized. Skilled wizards may have spent their last few decades compiling their library of spell components.
