Basic Information
Growth Rate & Stages
Elves attain maturity around twenty years of age when their bodies slow the aging process. Most communities consider the next hundred years to be a young elf's wild years where they are encouraged to expand their horizon and experience as much as they can before the settle down.
Afterwards the elf is expected to settle down and contribute to their community in some way.
Around three hundred an elf will start to show signs of their advanced age but it will take another hundred years before their bodies begin to fail barring magical extension which can extend their lives to as much as five hundred years old before the limits of acceptable magic are reached.

Culture and Cultural Heritage
Elves have developed their own culture and society based on magic. Elves value magic and on improving their magical prowess to the point of creating their governance from it.
Nobility among elves was not a matter of inheritance but rather fame and mystical power. In some elf lands, specific titles, such as "Dragon", "Unicorn", and "Frost", were give to elves of great power over particular spheres, such as "summer flames", or "winter".
Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
Most communities of Elves are ruled over by a Wielder.
Each Wielder is in possession of an magic artifact weapon.
The weapon appears before the next Wielder upon the death of the predecessor. Sometimes this is a family member sometimes a stranger.
