Government

This is the heart of the Reclamation's forces. The General meets with and organizes much of his military from here. Most of those who reside in the city are followers of the Reclamation and will obey the orders of the General and his forces.

Defences

The majority of the walls still stand though there are a few breaches that have been supplanted with thick vegetation that was grown to cover their gaps. The city itself is surrounded by a dense jungle that has grown around it through magic and many Treants, Assassin Vines, and dangerous animals thrive within the surrounding area.

Guilds and Factions

The Reclamation controls much of the city but a small faction of soldiers refused to leave the city and protect the people who chose to stay but they are small in number.

History

Lowit was originally an outpost the Empire had used to support it's exploration into the unknown lands of Gedic. When the Expansion War started the outpost was first to be attacked. For many years the forces of Man and Elf fought for the outpost, both sides would use it as a staging ground till the other would take it. By the end of the Expansion War many of the soldiers of the army of man settled in the Lowit and began to build upon it.   After a hundred years Lowit had prospered with many settlements and outposts extending from it, upon the hundred year anniversary to the End of the Expansion War Lowit was to be established as the newest principality in the Empire. Even the leader Septimus Rex Humane was there to celebrate when the Beastlord attacked and sent his armies of animals to destroy the city. With tens of thousands of animals all converging on the city there population hid behind their walls as long as they could. Eventually with many corpses both human and almost a hundred times as many animal the beasts and the Beastlord breached the cities defenses. Most men and women died that day but eventually the battle ended when the Septimus slew the Beastlord and the animals returned to their natural state and fled. Septimus died shortly thereafter but not before he commanded the survivors to flee the city and tell all what had happened.   After that the Torn buried the body of the Beastlord and surrounded the city with a dense jungle of vines. Despite its destruction, there were several factions who chose to make the fallen city their home, chief among them being the Reclamation and a portion of their forces.

Architecture

The ruins of Lowit commonly consist of stone columns were needed to support heavy beams and roofs. Many of these were destroyed by the Beastlord's attack and rarely repaired but in many instances the building are supplemented with large thorn vines that wrap around the structures or in some places replace the walls entirely.
