Writing System

The Erensugen alphabet is rarely used for modern purposes, as it is complicated and time consuming to write. Most Erensugen speaking Groundless in human cities cannot write it at all, and even on their sky ships, most Groundless use the Lamaran alphabet.

Geographical Distribution

Erensugen is spoken throughout the world due to the nomadic nature of the Groundless. While it can take quite different forms in terms of dialect, it is all one language. A speaker from Kozegard should in theory be able to communicate with a speaker from Mukasi, despite the speakers being so far apart. This is helped primarily by Groundless visitations to different cities, keeping the language recognisably the same.
