Qualifications

A degree in the study of magical healing or magic and its effects on healing is required, as well as a standard medical degree with surgical training.
After this there is almost the requirement of a minimum of three years training under a magi-physiological surgeon.

Career Progression

Upon qualifying as a magi-physiological surgeon, an individual will spend at least two years as a general magi-physiological surgeon.
After this, if they wish to specialise futher by focusing on one area - e.g. the brain - they may take steps train as such.
Specialisation is not a requirement for being elevated to a hospital's chief magi-physiological surgeon, but it is helpful.
