History
Originally just seen as the basic elements of nature within the Material Plane. Genasi started forming and gaining their own bodies do to the celestial, divine, and other high tier magic that was circling within the world. Once Genasi awoke they had used the shared characteristics of both Humans & Elves. You can see it within their ears, nose, and eyes; that this species influenced itself by those two in order to gain the eventual abilities to procreate.
By the time the Deities had started to leave the Material Plane for their own respective planes, Genasi seemingly split naturally from one another.
Air Genasi were drawn to Genea
Earth Genasi were drawn to Coyuan
Fire Genasi were drawn to Agea.
Water Genasi were drawn to Wrizuahaes.
With each Genasi ethnicity seemingly spreading throughout the world the growing expanse of each type generally remained within the continents they had been drawn to. Each Genasi type is not against the other types. The speration was just natural way they each went.
