Solar Skiff
The Nornians developed the solar skiff not only as a way of getting around the island, but specifically for spreading the oxygen trap across the jungle canopy. It is not a straightforward flying vehicle; in fact, the Nornians used it to navigate rivers and the reef around the island much more often than they ever used it to fly. When airborne, however, it relies heavily on gliding, with a burst of power to the lifters as needed. In order to fulfill a variety of uses, it is equipped with a special sail that quickly converts from a sailboat-type sail to a pair of wings. It is powered, like much of the other technologies on the island, by the solar harness.

Propulsion
Largely wind-propelled, but can draw on the solar harness to get aloft. Its sail can convert from a sailboat-type sail to almost a set of wings. It also has a set of "tailfeather" sails.
