Mechanics & Inner Workings
Four long, slim, straight blades made of Sunsteel without a grip and with an exposed tang. Each blade is about 4kgs in weight, 90cm long, and 6cm wide. As each blade is quite heavy and lacks a grip, the weapon would only be useful to someone with Telekinesis of tier 4 or above (tier 3 if handling all four blades).
Two blades are single-edged whereas the other two are double-edged allowing for effective blocking and attack. The blades have no crossguards and the edges extend to the start of the tang. The tangs all have bored holes which allow for locking into the scabbard. There are four different electronic markings on each of the blades on the top of the tang.
Each blade is sheathed into a large rectangular casing measuring 100cmx50cmx10cm. The casing is metallic and coated in Galaxy Obsidian and contains a variety of electronic and mechanical components. It has tungsten carbide bolts to lock in the blades when stowed. The locking bolts can only be unlocked by several biometric systems and so will only respond to a registered user.
