The EAP's(Earth Ark Project) main goal was to colonise habitable star systems with the use of Colony Ships. After an asteroid on a collision course with Earth was discovered, The EAP began rapidly developing space-faring technology.
Assets
The EAP owns several facilities and space-borne vessels as assets for its mission. Lake Victoria Starport is their main starbase and launch site. It is also their primary headquarters.

History
Late into the 23rd century, an asteroid was discovered on a collision course with Earth. To prevent this catastrophic disaster, the United Nations founded two organisations; Gaia's Shield and the Earth Ark Project. Gaia's Shield's main goal was to preclude the collision from ever happening in the first place.
The Earth Ark Project, however, decided to abandon Earth in the hopes of finding a new home among the stars. The first two Colony Ships it launched were the Colony Starship Adam Pagria and the Adam Kasia.
The ultimate fate of Earth is currently unknown.
