Drugs and Medicines

There are a number of drugs, used both for healing and recreational use in the Salthan republic.
Fireshroom / Barbarianshroom  A red mushroom hood with lighter red or pink spots and a white stem.  Consuming has the effects of a high, increasing agression and pain tollerance and lowering inhibitions.  Side effects of the drug is red eyes dehydration, hunger, memory loss, raised blood preasure, increased heart rate and and heart problems.
Stoneroot  made from the the stoneroot flower, it is usually powdered and then smoked, snorted or consumed. Effects are a mellow high, and increased pain tollerance. Healers use it as a strong pain medicine.
Side efects in high dosage includes stomach ulsers and kidney problems, but is fairly safe in smaller doses.

Featherdust   Made from a powder of the seeds of the desert lilly, and usually smoked or snorrted, it gives an effects of feelings of lightness and floating with some mild hallucinations and altered vision at higher doses.  There is not enough information currently on side effects.

Mindlock
A drug made from a mixtrue of plants, this drug gives the user a burst of energy and sense of euphiria. Side Effects include Dry mouth, Anxiousness, Increased heart rate, Weight loss, Grinding of teeth, nosebleeds, profuse sweating (among other effects). This is a recreational drug of choice for cramming students. It is mildly to highly addictive when abused at higher doses.
