Ma'orsáhh Cainid
General introduction
Ma'orsáhh Cainid is the title of the head of the Fhid'ou Lóm. It means nothing more than 'supreme' or 'authorized leader', but is a title connected to the Talmoudahhians eternal claim to the Duiniken throne.
The organization is small, having at it's most three members, but two members are the norm: a leader and a disciple ('Clúntidh' - 'the listener'). The third member is - should it exist, mostly a broken and psychologically fully dependent tool for the Ma'orsáhh Cainid or the Clúntidh, existing only to carry out tasks, mostly murder, kidnapping or theft on behalf of who is pulling the strings of this marionette in the background.
Position within the organisation
The Má'orsáhh Cainid is the current Talmoudahhian pretender to the throne, the Clúntidh his successor. This makes it a father-son relation in most cases, although the branch of the family has successful diversified and sometimes the titles pass to nephews as well. Even within the Talmoudahhian branch though, the Fhid'ou Lóm is generally a mystery and only those two who are part of it, actually know what being Fhid'ou Lóm means and encompasses.
Má'orsáhh Cainid are the absolute and undisputed leaders of this very small organisation. They plan and scheme and most of all they teach their successor to be as mighty and witty as they are. The general focus of the work shifts with personal preferences, interests and plannings of the current leader. That is, why some shine in manipulation and espionage, others in ressource acquisition and yet others in research and magic.
Prerequisites to the title and affiliations
The title passes to the Clúntidh automatically as soon as the Má'orsáhh Cainid dies or becomes too old and frail to fill the role. Before that though, he must have chosen a successor for his Clúntidh. Only in very rare and unfortunate circumstances this task is taken by who is about to become the Má'orsáhh Cainid himself. This selection process as justified by the Má'orsáhh Cainid's older age and higher experience, as he knows best, who would and should succeed him.
The worship of Dorcha Cómarahh is a key element of the Fhid'ou Lóm. He is the Sovereign of Shadow, the masterful manipulator, a powerful and ruthless being, granting inhumane powers and knowledge for high and gruesome prices. Most mortals don't deal with hin, but it must be noted that albeit his cruel demands, he is a reliable ally. And the Fidh'ou Lóm values reliability far above any human sacrifice that might be demanded.
