Trásacuina

Short overview

The province of Trásacuina was a short lived extension of the Tarranaenian Empire's dominion, established by Baius Válés Aemiliánus shortly before he had himself declared emperor. It was a stretch of land north of the Sévo Mountains that was only occupied by smaller states before the Tarrabaenian annexion of the area. There was a certain amount of resistance against the Tarrabaenians, a fact that was taken advantage of by Baius Válés Aemiliánus to justify himself being in command of the Tarrabaenian army for longer than what was allowed by law. The establishment of Trásacuina ultimately led to Baius' usurpation of power and gave him the leverage he needed to transform the Confederation to an Empire.
