Concerto Plaza Piano
This grand piano is too large to be moved easily. It seems nearly glued to the spot. Available to anyone to use, it always seems to keep itself in tune. The body of the piano is an elegant onyx finish, the top open to show the inner workings and let the sound resonate freely.
The keys are rendered in high quality ivory. Exactly what creature it may have come from is unclear, but the dense bone material makes for ideal heavy and responsive keys that feel just slightly warm to the touch.
When Investigated
Those who use See Invisibility when observing the piano will notice that the keys have an otherworldly presence, as though they smoke and shoulder with something unseen to the human eye. Detect Magic reveals that Necromancy is afoot. Not on the whole piano, on the keys alone. These are skeleton keys.The Deep Lore
The ivory keys of this piano were once living, and as such they make for an acceptable receptacle for spirits of the undead. Adam Shand was so broken by the loss of his father, that he bound his spirit to the keys so they would always be able to play the piano together. It is a crime to use such necromancies for personal gain and convenience. But sometimes grief is more powerful than reason. If the Ivory Bound Spirit is befriended, it grants the help action to all attempts to play music on the piano. Giving advantage on Musical Instrument checks to do so.
