Crystalings
These small elementals are much akin to Mephits, but they always form from the extreme pressure of the deep forming crystals. They have a harmonic quality to them, each speaking and singing in a slightly different note and key. Their tone is a signature and unmistakable to others of their kind, but even a practiced speaker of Primordial from any other species can hardly ever tell them apart.
They are each composed of what seem like separate crystals. Each floating and turning in the air as though on its own accord. This creates the haunting music of of their harmonic song. But from time to time, they must do more than sing. The crystals will dance around and form into shapes, pulling together to create tools or hands, smiles and faces to express themselves. Breaking apart and reforming as needed to produce different arrangements of their crystalline structures. It becomes clear that the points and shards are connected as a single creature. An elemental of crystal and gem.
