Terrible Lizards
This was not the first cataclysm that forced life underground, perhaps it won’t be the last. Eons ago another tragedy forced life to retreat, and deep within the bowels of The Unders these terrible and mighty lizards still roam. Adapted for their subterranean life, these giants once wandered the surface as the uncontentested lords of the world.
You guessed it. They are dinosaurs.
Basic Information
Anatomy
There is a wide variety of these creatures, all lumped together into one category. They can range from small chicken sized carnivores with sharp little teeth and fast legs, to massive slow moving behemoths with necks that reach like cranes high in the sky, to lumbering two legged monsters with teeth as long as a man’s forearm. But one trait is unmistakable, they’ve all got a lovely plumage. Feathers accent their look, or in some cases dominate it.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
These creatures all have a very precise sense of hearing. Their calls and mating rituals involve dancing and song and they are very discerning when selecting their mates. This makes them difficult to sneak up on, as they are always listening.
