The Bluestone Gazette
Information and entertainment are not as distinct as most would like to pretend. Or so the founders of the Bluestone Gazette believe. The premier gossip rag in Sanctuary, the Bluestone Gazette holds both one of the highest readerships and one of the highest rates of libel suits of any publication in the city. Their ethos is simple: if it grabs attention, it's worth publishing. Most content in its pages is the delicious tabloid trash people crave, though on occasion articles of more informative -- or even intellectual -- inclination leak their way in.
The Gazette's history is a storied and colorful one, dating back to not long after the ill-fated Thread magazine was shut down. It's said that a number of its old editors and contributors pivoted over to this new publication, and operate it in a decades-long act of libellous spite. But that's just a rumor. What isn't rumor, however, is the allure of becoming a contributor! Submissions are anonymous (though pen-names are encouraged), the printing presses move around as legal action and retributive arson demand, and good articles are compensated extremely well.
PCs earn no Clout from submitting to the Bluestone Gazette, due to the anonymous nature of their work. They will, however, earn a substantial monetary reward. 15x your level in gp for a suitably informative article, 30x if it's both controversial and provable beyond a reasonable doubt. Specifically: controversial in that it causes some stir with people in power.
If you don't have any evidence to back up what you're saying, you can still get a plausible story into print with a DC 20 Deception check, earning the base rate for doing so.
