The Goblin Priest of Goz Tik'as

High Priest Loc

There has always been a goblin priest serving as the emperor's right hand in Tik'al, and it has always been that they hold immense sway over the ruler, especially when the ruler ascends to the throne young and impressionable. Never has this been more true than with the current ruler and priest duo.   The current priest, named Loc, whispers tales of grandeur in Ztina's ear, convincing him of the amazing destiny that's in store for him and his Empire. It is hard to say what instigated Ztina's original burst of ambition, but his it is also undeniable that his priest egging him on has had a significant effect.

Personal history

Much like all High Priests before him, Loc comes from a long line of advisors to the Emperor leading back to the original goblin cleric that the First Emperor took in. He took his position from his mother, when she was deemed unfit to continue work by Ztina's own mother and forced to retire.   After that, Loc bided his time, grooming Ztina in the so-called proper ways of rule, drilling in the fact that he should always listen to his advisors, namely, Loc himself. Then, when the child was pulled from little human things and sat on the throne, he had nothing but utmost trust in his little goblin priest. They have been inseparable ever since.

Known Languages
Despite being the opposite of well-travelled, the High Priest has gathered a passing knowledge of most of the languages of Saraya, and to the delight of the Emperor he uses this in a lot of dealings with foreigners on behalf of him. Though Ztina puts immeasurable faith in him, Loc finds it impossible not to meddle with, misconstrue, or outright change what his Emperor asks him to translate for his own gain.
