The Eternals
"I, Harendial, am the current Paragon of Amarasi, Eternal of Rebirth. Blessed with great ability beyond my own limits and a gift only I can wield, I represent Amarasi's will across my city and all of San'Grenon."
Summary
Almost 4000 years past, all-powerful beings used to live upon this land. Historians call San'Grenon the heart of the gods, upon which they all resided in tenuous peace. This all came to an end when the land was afflicted with the presence of demons and devils, as a war between the two factions tore its way onto the Material Plane. The gods, known as Eternals, all disagreed on how to deal with the invading conflict - in fact, some of the Eternals elected to side with the demons or the devils. A fight that shook the world erupted between the opposing sides, and when the dust settled, both demons and devils were sealed away.
The Eternals, no longer able to co-exist together in peace, agreed to leave the Material Plane. The day they collectively left our realm is known as the Day of Radiance, upon which a golden halo of light centered upon San'Grenon shone across the world. Beings from other far-off continents were drawn to this light. The first to arrive on the war-torn land were the elves, and the next three millennia were spent healing the earth and forming their kingdoms. Only five hundred years past, the first human settlers arrived from the west, and they wasted no time building settlements of their own.
Although the Eternals have sworn to never return to the Material Plane, they choose to influence this land on a much smaller scale. Every Eternal chooses a Paragon - a single representative who upholds their beliefs and authority through the continent of San'Grenon. There is only ever one Paragon for each Eternal at a time - Governess Harendial of Solis is the most famous of the present day. She will remain the Paragon of Amarasi until she dies or passes on the gift, upon which a new Paragon will be born.
Known Paragons:
