General Summary

Question

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

Humility is useful as a tool but really everyone craves praise whether they say it or not. Lostin don't crave praise, he feeds on it like catnip.   Rodger considers the most overrated virtue to be honor/tradition. Hand in hand with fighting fair, it just doesn't make sense to make one's self vulnerable like that. Tradition ties people down, makes slaves of them. Justice does not require a one on one duel, just a knife in the dark.   Alizar thinks that patience is overrated because if you just wait around for something to happen never doing anything you are just wasting time you could have spent making something happen.   Ark considers celibacy is something so off and foreign for him. the act itself of denying ones self of such a primal pleasure for some sort of spiritual enlightenment is... off. Coming from a backgroun where he didn't have to work so hard for his gifts, it is apretty natural response as a playboy.   Sambra believes that the most overrated virtue is physical prowess. People are not led by the strength of a sword arm, but by the thoughts in their head. The best society's aren't run by gangsters and tyrants, but ran by intelligent decision makers who use logic and reason to guide and lead their people.
