Se04Ep11 - Remains of the Lich

General Summary

With Acererak the lich out of the way, the characters now face Acererak the demi-lich.

Question

What was the last thing you threw a fit about? How did that go?

The last time Ark was upset wasn't too long ago, just a few moments ago where he was extremely furious towards King Asher, thinking this was another Glass Staff scenario and that he wasn't "actually the badguy". Saying his actions were for the greater good really got under his skin, and made him feel that they were simply being used once again for another's ideals. Him turning on the party as a final test also didn't help quell Ark's heated mind.
The last thing Rodger threw a fit about was letting his daughter go back to fight the blood war in the abyss. It didn't do him any good. He kept a straight face through saying his goodbyes to Matilda and seeing his wife and son to bed, but after everyone left he screamed and howled at the gods for cursing his family with such a burden as seeing his only daughter off into a losing fight which robbed her of her youth; a direct insult to the implicit promise of a better life he'd sacrificed so much for- coming from Acheron.He howled and stomped and broke many common non-magical items in his rage, giving himself a sore throat and a torn meniscus. But the future refused to change.
Sambra normally keeps a cool and calm disposition and has rarely "thrown a fit". Thinking back however, probably the last thing that pissed him off was when a guard stationed at a local guild house that he was staying in was found was shirking his duty and allowing miscreants into the building. These vagrants were tearing up the places in an alcoholic rage, and Sambra and his guild mates had to rough them up a bit to get them out of the building. After he found out that the guard had fallen asleep he tore him a new asshole and made sure he was never employed in by his guild ever again.
Seom Rando would never admit to throwing a "fit", however, one time he was verbally abusive to a serving wench that was playing pranks on him at the behest of a local ruffian gang. He didn't understand why he got sugar instead of salt, or why she hid a toothpick in his sandwich, or then why she tied his jerkin strings to the stool causing uproarious laughter from the whole tavern when he tried to rise. After the final straw, Seom raised his voice over the laughter and started hurling nasty insults at the server, who began cowering and muttering apologies, and snatching glances back to the group in the corner. Noticing this, Seom turned fast and glared at the table. However, being severely out numbered and freshly healed from his most previous fights, he chose to slink out and not return.
Lostin throws full-on and minor fits that it's hard to remember them all, but he was fairly local about being Acererak's damage sponge. Thankfully Sambra fixed that before Lostin's fur caught fire from the massive amounts of damage flying his way.
