Walter Durst
Walter Durst was the bastard child of Gustav Durst and the children’s nursemaid, Margaret. In her jealousy and spite, Elisabeth Durst sacrificed him at the altar in their dungeon, and then, by through some unknown arcana phenomenon, the infant turned into a monstrous flesh mound.
He was summoned by thirteen apparitions to attack the characters when the characters refused to sacrifice anyone in the altar room. Engulfed by the flesh mound, Vercinissistrix could see infant Walter was the “heart” of the creature. Walter was connected to the rest of the mound via fleshy tendrils, which he tore apart with his comrades, causing the flesh mound to fall apart. Walter’s flesh dissolved along with the rest of the mound until only his bones remained.
The characters laid him to rest.
