Furious Guillimund
"I will find the Legendary Flavourtown on this trek or die trying!" - Furious Gullimund to his last five expeditions.
A Hobbit of both unique and storied History, being one of the first to go through the Wall of Thorns. Though his first expedition was a solo trek, with only his Chocobo, a sturdy pack, a length of rope, his chef's knives, and an Ironwood Spear that had been discarded in Cedarwood decades before. The trek was only a year beore his return, his brooch allowing him access to home. Coming with new found knowledge of the outside world and secrets from the surrounding Plains, as well as one of the first magical "Food Pouches" which hae profiliated through the Hobbit culture as they began to copy the pouches which acted as both a food storage option that would allow the food stuffs inside to last forever without rotting.
His second outing he recruited a small group of friends to roam with him, reaching out this time to the Mountain of Spring before returning a year later with tales of the many creatures that existed out there, revealing the harsh true that Goblins had not been wiped out as was hoped by the Elders. This time, Gui came back with a small caravan that was constructed on the road and plans to improve the Food Pouches that would allow any paired bags to not only store food indefinately, but share the storage and allow Hobbits to share food and recipes like never before. A new world of culinary delights opened to the Hobbits and they would capitalize on it.
The third outing, was funded by the spoils of both his roaming and his investments. Though only a few Silvers here and there, with enough people buying his new Food Pouches, and then the oddities that he would bring back to sell or gift to others. The Carvans well constructed, well guarded, and equipped. Though this would be the last trip where Gui would bring home something new which was a fertilizer that would increase crop yields in Cedarwood to levels never known before.
The next ten years would see Furious Gullimund go ranging, roving, return with new items to replace those lost to use and disrepair as well as seeds, seedlings, and general funds for various projects such as training the local militia, expanding the mines, and ensuring that the Druids had magical resources to keep the Wall as strong and healthy as the days of the war.
Now most young Hobbits train and prepare to get an offer from Furious Gullimund, with him bank rolling most of them to serve as a standing army or becoming his newest recuit for the Caravans.
A little known fact, is that Gullimund has a lover in the field that has saved his life on numerous occassions. Though rumour has it that he has saved her an equal number of times.
