Origin/Ancestry

There are several hypothesis on where the Hippogriff came from. Some claim they arrived by portal from one of the Outer Planes. Others think they are the result of magical experimentation. And, some believe the Hippogriff is a result of wild magic.

Conservation Status

The Hippogriff live in the mountains surrounding Sanres. There are also a few people who breed Hippogriffs so they can sell them to those who wishes to have a flying mount. The domesticated Hippogriff are smaller than the wild ones, but just as fierce if provoked.
A riding Hippogriff will cost between 10 and 50 times that of a warhorse, depending on the breeder's reputation and standing.
