Jessica Tertullian

Jessica Tertullian is a Sireless Tremere who played a large part in the death of Prince LaCroix in 2004 during the Ankaran Sarcophagus Incident. She was Sired without permission, and as a result, her Sire was executed at a Camarilla Elysium; she was next on the chopping block. However, thanks to intervention by Nines Rodriguez, - major faces of the Anarch Movement at the time - she was spared went on to be used by the Prince for his plots. She worked closely with Katalina and the Anarch community during this time to make a name for herself. She loyally served LaCroix’s purposes until he destroyed himself with the fake Sarcophagus, and afterward served under Strauss as one of his most promising apprentices.
Born in LA, Jessica grew up in Midtown. Highly introverted, interested in the occult and supernatural, and extremely clever - she dug up all sorts of lore that no mortal had any right in finding. She learned of the world of darkness concealed from the face of most mortals, learning of such topics as magic, true faith, and vampires. Her deliberations did not escape the notice of the Camarilla - and a Tremere took her into his fold. The original order was to kill Jessica, but the two instantly clicked and soon fell in love. The order to kill her was rescinded, and plans to Embrace her were laid out - however her Sire jumped the gun and in a moment of passion accidentially drained and murdered Jessica. The Embrace brought her back to life - but she and her Sire were quickly arrested moments after awakening again.
Since 2004, she’s been relegated to obscurity in the Camarilla. Well studied in Tremere lore and part of Katalina's coterie, she hopes to pull herself out of the shadows she’s fallen into and begin to truly make strides in LA… with or without the Camarilla. She also studies under Maximilan Strauss as his apprentice. Her closeness to Katalina, loyalty to the Camarilla, and proximity to the Primogen made her an easy pick as Ambassador to the Haven. She is of remarkably low generation for her very, very young age and is thus quite powerful for a neonate. She has a particular hatred of the Sabbat, and frequently operates against them whenever she can.
