Worm of Kyuss

These small green worms have been found infesting powerful undead across the continent of Soluria.
Through the work of Our Heroes and Allustan, the worms have been traced to a group known as the Ebon Triad, and their complex below Dourstone Mine. Their exact qualities are still a mystery, but they bare great resemblance to worms created by Kyuss over one thousand years ago.

Anatomy

A Kyuss worm ranges from one to five inches in length. They are bright green and pulsate with a soft green glow.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Increasingly found on the continent of Soluria . Confirmed rare sightings in Lorent, and the Blackmarsh within the last 10 years.

Average Intelligence

Kyuss worms do not seem to possess any particular intelligence or sentience beyond a need to infect a host body.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Kyuss worms are not known to track hosts by sight or smell, seeming to rely on touch and some form of hive mind to locate and infect possible hosts.

Symbiotic and Parasitic organisms

Kyuss worms are parasitic creatures, infecting living or dead hosts.
Hosts are initially weakened, and eventually succumb to death. After death, the host returns to activity as a Kyuss Zombie, or a variant thereof.
