The Time of Men

Era beginning/end

A time when the races of Men prospered. Societies rose, and fell, technological advances were made, and the groundworks for modern magic was created.

Avatars of Gods were still occasionally sighted, and the connections to the ancient forces of magic remained strong and unpredictable.   Men of each race grouped together, and built cities and societies to show their might and growth. Scholars focused their efforts on the stabilization and understanding of magical forces. The first modern mages were born, and their great works began to harness and control the elemental forces remaining on the Orb.   The Avatars of Gods bestowed upon the greatest of their faithful great gifts of power. These Chosen lead the societies of Men to great heights at an unparalleled rate.
