Bookeepers

Little is known about the Bookeepers save that they serve the Mistress of Secrets. They are said to possess knowledge of ancient secrets long lost to the world, and conduct experiments far more amoral than even the most twisted of mages. As an organization, they are quite willing to spread violence and destruction to ensure their knowledge remains in their hands, and are rumored to have erased whole towns from the map.  Most often found in the presence of magical research or ancient ruins, some tales paint the Bookeepers in a positive light, protecting the world from knowledge too dangerous to be widely known.

Tenets of Faith

The Bookkeepers believe that knowledge is power, and that power is something that need to be controlled. Certain knowledge is too dangerous, especially in the wrong hands, and for the Bookeepers all morality is second to that concern.
